The Cheyenne River radio station will provide relevant general information, news, weather, and a variety of music while promoting a greater cultural understanding through educational programming for the Cheyenne River Reservation and general listening population.
We’re your source for information about what’s going on in our community. Employment opportunities, events, trainings, schedules, program developments, governmental info—you name it, we’ll be covering it.
KIPI Radio is a commercial FM station operating at 93.5 MHz. Our signal transmits with 100,000K Watts of power and a 653-foot tower and antenna.
We’re owned by the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe and are licensed by the FCC. Our signal reaches the entire Cheyenne River Reservation with a minimum of 50 dBu. Our signal strength maps a 120-mile radius with Eagle Butte at the center.
